October 2014 Splinters from the Board

There was discussion about the Lansing property; inspections are occurring October 21 and 23.

The Board voted to call a Congregational meeting on November 16, 2014, at 12:30 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to vote on the purchase of the property in Lansing. All are welcome, but only members may vote.

The Board discussed arrangements for the congregational site visits on October 25 and 27. Board members are scheduled for both days.

Information sessions for the congregation will be held in the Social Hall after each service on November 2; a subcommittee will coordinate content and organization of presentations.

After the Finance Committee report was discussed, the Board approved modifying the check-signing policy to allow the credit card statement to be paid with a single-signature check in most situations.
