Fall 2017 Splinters from the Board

This fall, we've been pleased to welcome two new groups of learners to our building: English as a Second Language classes sponsored by the Refugee Development Center, with a number of our congregants serving as staff and/or volunteers; and science classes for homeschoolers by the Schrodinger Academy, which serves a number of families in our congregation.

Grounds Planning Group members offered a presentation of an evolving site plan for the UU Lansing Grounds.

During our recent Board retreat, we began work on a new three-year strategic plan (2018 - 2020) that includes laying the groundwork for our upcoming ministerial search process with a goal to successfully call our next settled minister in the spring of 2019.

Thanks to your ongoing generosity (of spirit, time, and $$), we have been able to fulfill a number of both "must-do" and "wish list" items that all help to make our physical home more hospitable and welcoming.

As always, we welcome your questions, your feedback, and your involvement.
